Recipient Notification
June 15, 2026: Scholarship recipients announced.
Gain Memership Access
Gain (or extend) membership access to ATS and STN for 1 year.
Attend Courses
Partners’ courses begin at various times throughout the year. Recipients have one year to complete all required coursework, with all courses finished by May 15, 2027.
Receive Certifications
Receive Certificates of Completion from each organization for the courses completed, including a special Trauma TEAMS certificate once all courses are completed.
Eligibility Criteria
For those passionate about trauma care and growing as a leader
For Trauma Leaders
Must be a Trauma Program Manager (TPM) or in a similar leadership role within a hospital-based trauma program in the United States. Eligible roles may include Trauma Coordinators, Trauma Directors, or individuals directly responsible for trauma program operations and leadership.
Be a Member of a Partner Organization
Must be a current member of at least one of the three partner organizations.

Commitment to Trauma Care
Must demonstrate a commitment to advancing trauma care and leadership development through education, quality improvement initiatives, or programmatic advancements in their hospital trauma program.
Vision for Impact
Must have a clear vision for how this scholarship will enhance their role in trauma leadership. Applicants should articulate how the knowledge and skills gained will be applied within their trauma program to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and overall trauma care quality.
Experience Requirement
“Emerging Trauma Leader Scholarship” applicants must have three years or less of experience as a Trauma Program Manager or equivalent role. “Trauma Leadership Excellence Scholarship” applicants must have more than three years of experience as a Trauma Program Manager or equivalent role.

To be considered for Trauma TEAMS, applicants must submit an online application that highlights their qualifications, leadership potential, and commitment to trauma program management. The application should include the following:
Personal Statement (250 words)
Applicants must provide a personal statement detailing their background, experience in trauma care, and career goals. They should describe their journey into trauma program management, key challenges they have faced, and how they hope to grow as leaders in the field.
Statement of Impact (250 words)
Applicants must explain how receiving the Trauma TEAMS Scholarship will enhance their professional development and benefit their trauma program and institution. They should articulate how the education, training, and mentorship opportunities will strengthen their ability to lead, improve patient outcomes, and drive program success.
Letter of Recommendation May Be Required
You may be required to provide a signed letter of recommendation from a hospital leader (such as a Trauma Medical Director, Chief Nursing Officer, or Trauma Administrator) supporting the applicant’s qualifications, if requested by the selection committee. This letter should highlight the applicant’s leadership qualities, dedication to trauma care, and potential for professional growth.

The Scholarship selection committee, composed of representatives from NQS, ATS, TCAA, and STN, will carefully review all submitted applications to identify recipients who demonstrate the strongest commitment to trauma leadership and program excellence.
Selection will be based on the following criteria:
